A young, pregnant woman prevents a burglar from raping her by killing him. Her violent hatred brings her subconscious to the fore, pushing her to the edge of self-destruction...

(That's not entirely true, but that's what the promo says)

Joyce's life seems to be perfect. She's got a young, virile husband and all the money she'll ever need. But Joyce is haunted by a past she can't understand - her father's violent suicide and the will that made her sole heir to his immense fortune.

Her troubles start when her husband leaves her for a month of buisness in London. Joyce starts hearing voices...and seeing things. When a masked intruder forces his way into their apartment, he unleashed in her a frightened little girl tormented by her "special" relationship with Daddy...and a crazed madwoman hungry for revenge.

Reviews

"An innovative thriller...builds suspensefully to a violent conclusion."

- VARIETY

"This low-budget psychological drama finds a pregnant woman slowly losing her mind after she is attacked by an intruder. Two scenes are "borrowed" from Dial M For Murder and Roman Polanski's Repulsion, but director Chuck Vincent manages to add his own touches of black humor to this routine feature. Nudity and violence make this a R rated film."

"Please don't confuse this with the outstanding 1974 horror film of the same title. This one is just another weak Repulsion rip-off from blue-movie king Chuck Vincent (Roommates). Jane Hamilton (best known as porn star "Veronica Hart") stars as a pregnant woman who kills a burglar in her apartment and suffers a miscarriage. She starts going crazy, killing anyone who comes to her door and hallucinating that her dead father (Jamie Gillis) is in the bathtub. Paul Siederman (aka "Jerry Butler") co-stars with Jennifer Delora, and -- if nothing else -- this film helps to explain why more porn stars don't find mainstream acting jobs."
